No, not camping outside--Camp Kelly in conjunction with the Wetumpka City Library, is an art camp themed "Tails and Tales." This "camp" is free due to a grant from the Central Alabama Community Foundation. Kids starting 1st-6th grade have signed up for some very special activities on Tuesdays, June 8-July 20, directed by art teachers Adrienne Duvall and Cathy Saylor.
From the photo above, you can see the campers hard at work on their paintings, but what you cannot see is that there are 83 registered and that Cookie Knott worked hard with her committee to get everything organized for this grant, set up, and tweaked to avoid the pandemic.
