Come this Tuesday, March 16, at noon to The Kelly's Tuesday with Kelly talk to hear Marilee Tankersley talk about this topic and find out. A professional sewing expert with a master's degree from Auburn in Clothing and Textiles, Marilee is also a former model and former Elmore County Extension Coordinator. She is knowledgeable about clothing, sewing and even tailoring, having taught a class in properly making a a blazer (see photo above).
Tuesdays With Kelly are free lunchtime lectures open to anyone. Bring a bag lunch and be treated to a drink and dessert. Stay past the hour if you'd like to browse the current Home and Hearth quilting/needlework display. (Marilee has a gorgeous piece of her own handwoven silk in the exhibit.)
