Kelly Artists, prime your canvases and clean your brushes. It is time to start preparing for the 2nd Annual Kelly Artist Market. The Kelly has secured a space in downtown Wetumpka (the old Austin's Flowers) during the Dickens Christmas celebration. No charge for space, but this year limited space does not allow individual booths. A choice selection of artwork will be artistically hung by the stockings with care and 3D sculptures/pottery stacked on the built-in bookshelves with caution. There may be jewelry in the antique safe or quilts hung down the stairway--to be determined by the display committee.

As last year, there will be a central cashier, with 20% of proceeds going to The Kelly. Kelly Members will receive a 10% discount on purchases. The artists are also asked to sign up for a 2-hr shift to help, but the shop will be open 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 1-8 p.m. on Dec. 7 (with drop-offs on Friday, Dec. 6, 9-10 a.m. and are volunteers to help artists load and unload.) Kelly members ($35 to join) are welcome. Contact Kathy Atchison (334-567-1013) or Libby Christensen (libbychr@yahoo.com) for an entry form. Everyone else, save saving your shillings to buy great gifts for yourself and others.
