Ask and Ye Shall Receive

Because of all our grants, we were able to purchase this diamond in the very rough! However, once it's renovated to The Kelly's specs, it'll be a wonderful Company Street location for The Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery.

Several of the Board members--led by Belyn Richardson, Phyllis Kennedy, and Carol Hickman have spent many hours chasing grants. It takes a lot of time and effort to write up the details needed, but they've been overwhelmingly successful. We have over $100,000 to go toward the new building.

Also, Belyn recently announced that we'd received a grant to PAY a curator, a tough job that has been held by Hope Brannon for years and Carol Hickman this past year. This is a wonderful boon. We also just got a grant to preserve a precious scrapbook from the Dixie Art Colony. They've been asking, and we've been receiving.
