If you visited The Kelly's lovely Artists Market last year, you'll know that it was a beautiful, resounding success. We sold over $4000 in just a few hours, making it worthwhile not only for our own Kelly member artists but also a good fund-raiser for The Kelly from the commissions....not to mention the tremendous help it gave to Santa!
This year we have our own location, so we are extending the hours. According to Special Events Chair Charlotte Whetstone, "It'll open Friday afternoon, Dec. 4, that Saturday, Sunday, and again the following Friday and Saturday, giving shoppers five days to shop. Space for hanging may be more limited this year, but our artists ill be replenishing the offerings as items sell." That also means it'll be important to come back several times just to see what is new!
Any Kelly member who is an artist is welcome to join in. We are working on the prospectus this week, so information will be available soon. Contact libbychr@yahoo.com if you're interested because we're getting the artists' names together now.
