On the first week of Christmas, our Chamber gave to all, Wetumpka Dickens Christmas festi-val. With Mayor Willis lighting the lights and shops open in the evening, attendees in costume, carolers, vendors, and Father Christmas, this purports to be a celebration like has not been seen in more than a century.
The Kelly is deeply involved in the plans, setting up a Dickens Art Shoppe/Artist Market during the festival hours of Friday evening and Saturday afternoon-through. There will also be a Members' Party the Thursday before, so there is certainly some merriment to come. Don't be the Scrooge; mark your calendar to join the fun.
