Hundreds of visitors strolled around downtown Wetumpka on the balmy early December evenings of The Downtown Dickens Fest 2019, quite a few in Victorian dress! All the businesses were warmly lit, and many happy children posed for free pictures with Father Christmas, followed by free hot chocolate and cookies at the Chamber of Commerce. Other visitors waited in line for a carriage ride or sampled the vendors' wares. Quilters and craftsmen plied their trades while artists displayed at our Kelly Artists Market. It was clearly a Merry Christmas to all and to all a good couple of nights.
