"We are very lucky," says President Belyn Richardson, "to have received a grant just as we moved in to our new location downtown (110 East Bridge Street, Wetumpka). "We are grateful to the Central Alabama Community Foundation and to Board member Mit Fontaine, who submitted the grant request and is following up to purchase the items we needed. We now have over $2000 to spend on a PA system and furnishings.
While The Kelly already owned some pieces of furniture and display items, we really need folding chairs and small tables for meetings. We are eager to start hosting Tuesday with Kelly, for instance, in our OWN space! The grant came just in time. We should be ready to go as soon as the stay-at-home quarantine lifts."
