Home and Hearth TODAY, but Treasure Hunt Postponed

Updated: Dec 10, 2020

The Home and Hearth Exhibit for 2021 is accepting applications TODAY! Please view the prospectus at TheKelly.org You can email your application in immediately. Contact Curator Carol Hickman if you need time to get your photos in order (334) 391-5090, but time is running short!

This exhibit will include quilts, needlework, homemade clothing, knitting and crocheting, some of which may be antique. It's a different kind of art. The photo above is a quilt by Libby Christensen. Her business, Christensen Creations at sewgocreate.com , is sponsoring the exhibit. She'll be speaking about "The Art in Quilting" at the January Tuesday With Kelly.

Because Covid has stuck around longer than we expected and because we are busy renovating our website, we are postponing the end of the Treasure Hunt: Confronting Covid on line. We will continue taking submission "Healing" until Jan. 21 because people got busy and didn't get their work in! Or maybe because they didn't feel healed. In any case, there's a reprieve. Then by Feb. 21, we'd like to finish up with "Reunion"--let's hope there will be some reunion by then. Stand by!
