Lingered Longer

Despite the icy gusts of wind on the first Thursday of April, a bunch of eager astronauts designed their space vehicles at The Kelly's free art booth. Led by Curator Carol Hickman and Curator Asst Jennifer Eifert, over 50 excited kids stopped for a little art project. (We hear one lingered for half an hour, creating his perfect spaceship!) There was such a crowd that Carol had to rush out for more supplies!

Linger Longer supports the the Community Market in Merchants Alley by the river in Wetumpka. It's scheduled the first Thursday of every month, 5-8 p.m., and it's bound to get warmer!

Coming next month is a fabric landscape on hard board, certain to be another big hit. The Kelly intends to be prepared! So bring the munchkins and enjoy all the arts, crafts and local market fruits and vegetables. Coosa Cleaver even had a grill fired up, and honestly, everyone there seemed fired up and ready to mingle.
