"The Kelly Fitzpatrick Memorial Gallery welcomes the Making Alabama: A Bicentennial Traveling Exhibit from October 7 through October 25, 2019. The exhibit is presented by the Alabama Humanities Foundation in partnership with the Alabama Bicentennial Commission, Alabama Department of Archives and History, and Main Street Wetumpka. It is an interactive exhibit that tells the state’s history from the 1700’s through present day. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Many Kelly volunteers are helping with the visitors, including all the 4th graders in the county. The exhibition is being housed at the Elmore County Historical Museum and is open for another two weeks.
