We will not be painting houses or businesses--HGTV already did that! However, The Kelly has received a grant to pay for a new initiative to "Paint the Town," specifically some unsightly items such as electrical boxes, manhole covers, and other necessary but unappealing paraphernalia. The eyesores will be chosen along the routes of the Wetumpka "Trails," which are around town and around the area. The reason behind this project is to beautify the town, attract tourists, and give high school and college art students the opportunity to earn small stipends for their art, approved and under the supervision of The Kelly.
