A distinguished artist with 45 juried national shows to his name and several notable Fellowships as well, Stephen Cappelli is retired from being the Chairman of Visual Arts at Alabama State University. Along the way in his lengthy art career, he switched from painting to clay and now works out of his studio, Cold Kat Clay, in Deatsville. We are lucky to have some of his superb pieces of textured work.
