Board Members get the Good News! Note the smiles! (?)
What is the Good News? It is a HUGE check donated by the Wind Creek Casino from their TITO money last month. The money that customers leave in their uncashed tickets gets collected and donated to a good community cause, and that cause was The Kelly.
We are delighted to get this extremely generous donation to help us move into our new location this year and very grateful to the casino for its assistance.
The Kelly also has its first paid employee now. Our intern from Auburn University Montgomery, Jennifer Eifert, is now being paid part-time to assist the curator in a myriad different duties. Any donations we receive will be welcome to help pay our bills.
