Neill Thompson does; he not only likes, but LOVES wood--the colors, the types, the textures and the beautiful objects it can be made into. As our guest speaker at Tuesday With Kelly this coming Tuesday, he will show us some of the work he does at his studio shop, Longleaf Wood Shop at 3116 Wetumpka Highway in Montgomery. This is a "brown bag" event, so come at noon with your sandwich; The Kelly provides dessert and drinks.
Taking it a step further, Neill is offering The Kelly members a very special "Hands On Cutting Board" workshop 9-noon on August 4. For just $30, he's providing the materials as well as the tools in his spacious workshop. There is room for 10 participants while social distancing. Call 567-4637 to pre-register.
