The Board is actively at work. Linda Lewis, Board Director, is heading another committee to review and update all core documents, including the by-laws and policies/procedures. The idea is to be ready to develop a long-term plan as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Hope Brannon reminds all volunteers to please turn in to the board the number of their work hours and any in-kind service and contributions. These numbers become very important when we are applying for grants. We have many volunteers, but it is essential to track and enumerate them.
